Beyond talk therapy, you can also learn how to focus on and reconnect to your body through somatic therapy interventions. At Chances MFC, our therapeutic relationships with our clients are really sacred to us. We take pride in making sure our clients feel comfortable, safe, and understood. Our work together helps people find joy in their lives as we help you work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, traumas, or any other roadblock that's keeping you from living your best life. A great therapist is someone who provides support and empathy while gently challenging you to break out of your comfort zone or try things differently. We strive to do fulfill that expectation with every client and every session.

  • Availability: People are often surprised that a therapist answers when they make the first phone call to schedule an appointment. If we miss your call we'll promptly return your call in the next couple of hours.
  • Confidentiality: Your privacy is essential to therapy, and we go out of our way to maintain your confidentiality.
  • Flexibility: We have therapists available throughout the day, in the evenings, and on the weekends to accommodate everyone's schedule.
  • Tailored: Every client brings their own story with them, we're here to listen and provide the individual support that you need. Therapy is not a one size fits all process, we're interested in what works for you.
  • Referrals: If we're not the best fit for you, we're happy to refer a local colleague or treatment center that better suits your needs.

Couples Therapy

Is your relationship bringing you joy - or is it a source of pain and conflict? Is it the relationship you've always dreamed of - or can it use some major improvement? Whether you need some help with communication or dealing with what seems like a hopeless marriage, couples therapy can make a big difference in your relationship and overall satisfaction.

Relationships require work. Some relationships require more work than others, and that's okay. However, no one deserves to be in a relationship that is not fulfilling and devoid of any joy. It might feel like you are constantly fighting against each other instead of enjoying each other's company, or maybe you feel like the connection is missing altogether. This doesn't have to be the case and it doesn't mean that the relationship has to be over. Your needs as a couple change over time. Therapy is a neutral space where you can come together as a couple and have guided conversations to strengthen your relationship.

Our couples therapists provide couples counseling to help relationships and marriages work! Many people think that if the spark is gone, they are fighting too much, or even if there has been a breach of trust, that the relationship does not have any hope. With couples therapy, we assist couples in communicating efficiently, connecting with one another, and fighting for their marriage instead of one another. It's often difficult to look past the pain you're currently in or to put down your defenses if you've already been hurt. At Chances MFC we provide a safe environment where connection, healing, and communication can happen. Clinicians we work with many couples (dating, engaged, married, or separated) and appreciate the delicate nature of relationships. We know what an important aspect of your life this is and what it would mean for this relationship to go from a painful to a joyful one.

Our work with you will involve an initial intake and assessment to gathering information. Then, we will work together to create a goal and we will work with you to make a plan and get to that goal. Each couple's needs are unique and each course of couple's therapy is tailored for the couple we work with.
